Welcome to Episode 34, everyone! Joining Joshua this week is good friend, fellow fighting gamer and Australia-based friend, Tim Round. The duo discuss such things as working on the railroad all the livelong day, the release of the Amazon Fire phone, U.S./Australia relations by way of Podcast and punk rock, while all the while battling shoddy WiFi and time zones. Also, more discussion of Godzilla Night III and Joshua discusses his and wife Hannah’s upcoming, kaiju-related travel plans.
After a short break (you know, to go get married and all that), we’re back after virtually ZERO demand, it’s Incoductic back up in your ear holes. This time around, Joshua is joined by long time friend, co-author on Disk Read Error and frequent butt of Joshua’s jokes, Megan Highwind. Together, they discuss the recent “should have gotten more love than it did” action flick ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, E3 announcements and Joshua continues his endeavor to find Megan her Mr. Megan. Joshua also sits down for an Incoductalk with the Executive Director of the Digital Game Museum in Santa Clara, CA, Judith Haemmerle for an interview and discussion about gaming history and the importance of its preservation.
Joshua solos another episode, but considering the subject matter, it’s kind of obvious why. This week, he’s discussing the newly released Godzilla movie, the recent Big Wow Comic Fest comic book convention in the San Francisco Bay Area, shaking the hands of Godzilla and Ultraman, upcoming blog events and honestly, pretty much all things Godzilla. Also featured is the return of Incoductalk, this time with Chris Mowry, the writer of the current Godzilla: Rulers of Earth comic by IDW Publishing.
The fabulous Hannah returns to co-host the show this week as the duo somewhat tiredly discuss their most recent adventures and their big lifestyle changes in diet and exercise. Also this week, Joshua continues to get hype for Godzilla and the upcoming Big Wow Comic Fest and the two of them get overwhelmed by communications and share some cutesiness. Seriously, they’re cute. #dealwithit
Just like that, we’ve hit Incoductic’s dirty thirty. Joshua is back in proper form after a sudden outbreak of busy happened upon him and he had to step away from the mic and into the real world for a hot second. Joining him this week is his brother and fellow gamer, James B. Boss. Check out the sibling geek fest as they discuss Free Comic Book Day, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, gear up for the release of Godzilla, the upcoming Big Wow Comic Fest and cower and wince at how these two could not be mistaken for ANYTHING other than brothers. Also, feel free to marvel at James’ impression of Bane. Seriously, it’s pretty good.
Guess who’s birthday it is… er at least two days ago it WAS. Super-short episode for everyone this week, as Joshua’s had a bit of a busy weekend with the birthday goings on and general hustle and bustle of the weekend. As a result, there’s no guest, no format and and no editing this week, so it’s KIND of a Gone Wild Incoductic episode. However, there IS a lot of gushing, giving a rundown on the awesome gifts his amazing fianceé got him and asking attempting by Joshua to get his birthday present crowd funded so he can Killer Instinct his face off. Spoiler, it’s an Xbox One he’s asking for. At any rate, enjoy Episode 29!
Oh, YEEESSSSS! We’re back with our usual shenanigans, but now with 100% less liquor and cursing. Wait! Before you leave, let us at least tell you about the show! Joshua sits down with long time friend and co-founder of Wrestling for Charity, Robert “Butch” Haugh to discussing wrestling from a booking standpoint, Wrestlemania XXX controversy (now that the dust has settled a bit), the untimely passing of The Ultimate Warrior and the life and times of being a “Junior Pro Wrestler in college, as well as our usual nerdiness.
